Fast, Secure Certification for International Trade Documents
Exporting products overseas? You may need a Certificate of Origin or other certified trade documents to meet your destination country's import requirements. A Certificate of Origin verifies where your goods were made and is one of the most common documents required for international shipments.
The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the American World Trade Chamber of Commerce, offers electronically stamped trade documents including certificates of origin, certificates of free sale, and other key trade documents.
How To Get Started
Create, submit, and retrieve your trade documents through our online Chamber Certification portal using the links below.
- First-time users: Register to create your Chamber Certification account.
- Returning users: Log in to access your existing account.

Additional Information
Certificates of origin issued through the program are aligned with the standards set by the International Chamber of Commerce and can be verified here.
Documents Covered
The certificate of origin is the most common, you are able to submit other documents for ‘chamberization’ through Chamber Certification. This includes certificates of free sale, invoices, manufacturer’s declarations, and other documents which may need to be stamped, signed, and issued by a chamber of commerce.
Apostille and Legalization
Some countries require additional servicing to be done such as notarization, apostille, or even having the document presented to the embassy for legalization. Through Chamber Certification, exporters can request documents go through this additional processing for any country they may be exporting to.
